Vernon: Support groups are held once a month, on the third Thursday, from noon til 1:30pm (following the coffee drop-in) at People Place, Rm #004, 3402-27 Ave..Vernon, BC . Hellmut Noelle of the Family Resource Centre is leading the group with New Hope volunteer hostesses. Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch.Note , there is no support group for December.
Regular Drop in Coffee Time: each Thursday morning, 9:30 -11:30 am, at People Place in Vernon, Rm #003. Resource Library is also available. NOTE: People Place is closed between Dec.24 and Jan 3. There will be no coffee time Dec 29.
Kelowna: Regular support group meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7 pm.at the Salvation Army Community Church, 1480 Sutherland Ave. Contact: Lorna : lorna@bohn.ca or call 860-6376 .
South Okanagan: Just starting in Penticton, Lunch Connections: meeting for lunch at 11:45am, 2nd Thurs of the month. Phone Fran @ 250-497-7850 (or e-mail: zeeuwfw@telus.net ) for location and to reserve. Also available for one on one support.
